We’ve adopted a highway!!
From Baileys Harbor going northbound to Ahrens Road, a 2-mile-stretch, we have accepted the simple and important responsibility of keeping watch over and keeping clean Highway 57!
This is our WI Dept of Transportation’s successful “Adopt a Highway” program, in which many awesome Door County nonprofits and businesses donate their time, picking up thousands of Monster cans, cigarette butts, Fireball mini bottles and countless other way weirder items, keeping our roads and land and water clean!
Join us on Sunday, May 18, 10 am - Noon to walk the 2-mile stretch and pick up trash with us!
