Educating Girls and Reducing Food Waste: Essential Strategies to Address Climate Change

A follow up to our program in June where Jonathan Foley introduced Project Drawdown and the scientifically tested solutions to reverse global warming.

We will present two videos featuring Katharine Wilkinson, VP of Communications and Engagement at Project Drawdown. She will explore how the education of girls and reducing our food waste can have a big impact on our climate. According to Project Drawdown, these are two of the top 10 solutions to combat climate change. Both videos will be followed by an open discussion with Roy Thilly, Climate Change Coalition of Door County - Steering Committee Co-Chair.

What: A free event open to the public including video presentation and group discussion.
